FAQ

Production services are not available for Returns and Exchanges.   In regards to t-shirts, mugs, etc. purchased through the Gear Shop:

All Sales are final.

Replacements are available only on undelivered items.

Exchanges are available damaged merchandise only.

Please make sure to check the color and size charts on t-shirts and other wearable items as our return policy doesn’t cover products ordered in the wrong size or buyer’s remorse regarding color, etc.

REPLACEMENTS

To be eligible for a replacement on undelivered items, you must have provided us with a viable and correct shipping address.  We are not responsible for typos in shipping or incorrect zip codes.  If your item(s) is not delivered ten (10) days after you have placed your order, contact us with your order number.  If we can track it and it remains undelivered from twenty-one (21) days from your order placement, we will ship a replacement at no cost to you.

EXCHANGES

Damaged or mislabeled items are eligible to be exchanged for a replacement.  You must contact us within seven (7) days from receipt.  Please share a detailed description of the problem.  We respond and ask for quality photos where we can see the issue. We’ll be happy to assist and reship the product for you.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. You must also retain the original packaging.

Parts of our site do not use SSL but all payment pages to which you may be directed are entirely secure.   Never fear!  Look for the little lock icon in your address bar when putting through payment.

It can be a bit confusing when you are notified about a spec ad.  You did not ask for it and you’re not sure how you feel about it.  However, it’s a good thing!

If 52 Women produced a spec ad for you, it is because we want to help you, see that you need help, or just flat out believe in your candidacy and want to support your campaign.   Candidates have a lot on their plates from gathering signatures for primaries to trying to figure out how to do filings with the SEC to running from event to event to event trying to get your message across.   We have expertise in crafting messages to help introduce you and position you towards the votes you don’t already have.

We’ll offer you a spec ad for a price between $500 and $1000 and it will be cut to broadcast television specs if needed.

If you don’t want to use it, we will shelve it entirely or post it as our own advocacy ad to our website completely unaffiliated with your campaign down the line.  No harm, no foul.  But also no gain for your campaign.

  1. Contact us via Request Custom Work page.
  2. Get acquainted with the services we offer.

In addition to full productions that start with scripting and go through shooting to post, we engage in all sorts of hybrid production scenarios.   Quite often campaigns require rapid response ads which do not allow time for shooting so we script something and edit it up with existing footage or footage the campaign may have shot recently on the phone of a staffer or volunteer.

Even when an ad does not have to be a rapid response, some campaigns prefer to send their cell phone footage and have us work with it.  There is value in having a volume of new quality video material coming out throughout the course of a campaign.  However, the key is quality!  It does not serve a purpose to just post up your raw material to social media feeds and ask the viewing public to sift through it.   It needs to be punched up and edited down so it grabs attention.

After we come to an understanding of the parameters of your project and the budget, we’ll send you a one page Work for Hire agreement to ensure you are getting what you pay for.

For delivery, we will post a full resolution HD video to a private page and give you the url and the password to download.  (Usually you just right-click on the ad to download it.)   If it was a spec ad, all previous watermarks will be removed.  You will have one month to download it before we dump the media or archive it.

Also, if we sourced any material of which you need to be aware, we will include a rights/clearances sheet and/or a credit list for you to pass to your legal team and keep on file.  We take copyright and infringement seriously.
